One of favorite galleries accepted one of my art pieces for a show that started Friday, January 23rd. To my dismay, they called on Thursday to tell me that my work would not be in the show after all. Apparently there are two curators and one obviously has veto power over the other... I will continue to submit work, but I will now send photos to the "top dog" for review! Lesson learned...
Bummer...seems wrong to find out the night before the show that you won't be in it. And I agree...lesson learned. I would have thought the two curators would have discussed the pieces and their placement before Thursday night.
